Barnaby Bear gets ready for Christmas

Barney has been very busy shopping for his Christmas presents.He decided to go to the Christmas markets to buy something different.

Barney meets the "garlic man" at the French market.




First he went to the Victorian market in North Shields. There he met a clown on stilts and then he met some pretty girls dressed in victorian costumes. Soon he had bought some chocolates and a Christmas stocking to hang up on Christmas Eve.

He then visited the French Market in Whitley Bay where he met people who were selling garlic and herbs. He bought some cheese which was very smelly.

I hope it tastes nice .

Barney goes to the football

On Saturday Barney went to see Newcastle United play football at St. James Park.Newcastle were playing Aston Villa. The final score was 1-1. He enjoyed the hospitality given to him in the box. He had a good view of the match. He was delighted with the programmes and badges that he was given to take home for his friends.
